In this A1 lesson, you’ll learn five useful German verbs:

Ich bin means I am.
You can use it to talk about how you feel or where you are.
Examples:
Ich bin mΓΌde. β I am tired.
Ich bin glΓΌcklich. β I am happy.
Ich bin zu Hause. β I am at home.

Ich habe means I have.
It is also used in some common German expressions.
Examples:

Use it when talking about where you are going.

Ich komme means I come.
You can use it to talk about where you come from or when you are coming.

Ich lerne means I learn or I am learning.
Use it when talking about studying or learning something.
Examples:
Ich lerne Deutsch. β I am learning German.
Ich lerne jeden Tag. β I learn every day.
Ich lerne zu Hause. β I study at home.
