  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Optional mix-in.

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Stir in the rolled oats, honey (or maple syrup), cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  • If using, fold in chocolate chips or any desired mix-ins.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cookie mixture onto a lined baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cookies are golden.
  • Allow to cool before enjoying.

Notes
