Ingredients
  

For the sliders

  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Other cheese options include gouda or pepper jack.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 12 slider buns Fresh bakery buns are recommended.
  • Pickles (optional) For serving.
  • Ketchup (optional) For serving.
  • Mustard (optional) For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into 12 small patties.

Baking

  • Place the patties on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  • During the last 5 minutes of baking, add a slice of cheese to each patty to melt.

Assembly

  • Assemble the sliders by placing each patty in a slider bun.
  • Add pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Check the internal temperature of the sliders; ground beef should reach at least 160°F (70°C). For a crispier exterior, broil the sliders for a minute or two after baking.
