  • 1 lb kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces You can opt for turkey kielbasa or plant-based sausages.
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed Alternatively, use 2 cans (15 oz) green beans, drained.
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved Red or yellow potatoes work well.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth For a vegetarian option, use vegetable broth.
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For Garnish (Optional)

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Add sliced kielbasa, green beans, baby potatoes, and chopped onions to the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle with minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour chicken broth over the mixture, then dot with butter pieces.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are tender and the flavors are well combined.
  • Stir gently halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking and flavor distribution.
  • Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For enhanced flavors, consider browning the kielbasa before adding it to the crockpot. You can also add red pepper flakes or a splash of hot sauce for some heat. Leftovers can be stored for up to three days in the refrigerator or frozen for up to three months.
