Syrup Mixture

  • 1 cup sugar Can be substituted with brown sugar for a deeper flavor.
  • 1 cup Sprite or 7-Up Any lemon-lime soda can be used; flavored options like ginger ale can add a twist.
  • 1/2 cup butter Melted for the sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Adds warmth and flavor to the sauce.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking dish.
  • Roll each peach half in a crescent roll dough.
  • Place the wrapped peaches in the prepared baking dish.

Making the Sauce

  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the dumplings and then pour the soda over the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
