Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with Greek yogurt or plant-based cream for lower calories.
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing broccoli)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Marinate the chicken in soy sauce, minced garlic, and lemon juice for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Cooking

  • Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  • While the chicken grills, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté the broccoli for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still vibrant; season with salt and pepper.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, remaining minced garlic, soy sauce, and any leftover marinade (cooked) until heated through.
  • Slice the grilled chicken and assemble bowls by placing broccoli at the bottom and topping it with sliced chicken. Drizzle creamy garlic sauce on top and serve immediately.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider garnishing with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
