Ingredients
  

For the Lemonade

  • 4 pieces fresh peaches, pitted and sliced Ripe peaches for best flavor.
  • 1 cup sugar Can adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1 cup water For the simple syrup.
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice Juice from fresh lemons.
  • 4 cups cold water To dilute the lemonade.
  • Ice Ice For serving.
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional) Adds aroma and visual appeal.

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely to create a simple syrup.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  • In a blender, combine the sliced peaches with the cooled simple syrup and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, discarding the solids.
  • Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir until well mixed.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, taste before serving and adjust sweetness as needed. Chill in the refrigerator for an hour before serving for the best taste. Can easily be customized with different fruits or herbs.
