  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the pan, sautéing until they become soft and aromatic, about 5 minutes.
  • Push the veggies to the side and add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet, seasoning it with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the beef, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Once browned, sprinkle the shredded cheese over the beef and let it melt.
  • Optional: For a traditional presentation, place the mixture in a low-carb wrap or bread, rolling it up tightly, or serve it straight from the skillet.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds or in a skillet over low heat. Don't overcrowd the skillet and consider using spices like jalapeños for a kick.
