Ingredients
  

Meatball Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 count egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Gluten-free breadcrumbs can be used.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Gochujang Glaze

  • 1/4 cup gochujang sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • to garnish Sesame seeds
  • to garnish Green onions, chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Making the Glaze

  • In a separate bowl, mix the gochujang sauce and honey to create the glaze.
  • Brush the glaze over the meatballs.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

These meatballs can also be enjoyed over rice, in bao buns, or as appetizers. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. They freeze well for up to 3 months.
