Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rolled oats Quick oats work too, but rolled oats provide a nice chewy texture.
  • 1 cup Nut butter Choose from peanut butter, almond butter, or sunflower seed butter for nut-free option.
  • 1/2 cup Honey or maple syrup Adjust according to taste preference.
  • 1/4 cup Protein powder Optional, choose your favorite flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Mini chocolate chips or dried fruit Use as fun mix-ins to enhance flavor and texture.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together rolled oats and nut butter until they are fully combined.
  • Drizzle in honey or maple syrup, adjusting the amount for your preferred sweetness level.
  • If you’re incorporating protein powder, add it now, along with any fun mix-ins like mini chocolate chips or your favorite dried fruits.
  • Stir everything together until it forms a tacky dough that holds together.
  • Use a scoop to portion out the mixture, and then roll each portion into balls about the size of a golf ball.
  • Place the formed balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week; can also be frozen for longer storage. Add more nut butter or syrup if the dough feels too dry. Use natural nut butters without added sugars or oils for healthier treats.
