Main ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into cubes Tender cuts are recommended for best results.
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Medium to large shrimp work best.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust based on personal preference.
  • 1 cup chimichurri sauce Essential for flavor; can be customized.
  • as needed skewers (wooden or metal) If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, toss the steak cubes and shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Thread the steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between the two.

Cooking

  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the steak is cooked to your desired level and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Remove from the grill and brush with chimichurri sauce before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding bell peppers or cherry tomatoes to the skewers. Aioli or spicy sriracha can be used for additional dipping options.
